If this law strengthens consumer protection requirements (e.g., clearer obligations for suppliers about warranties, repair/replace remedies, or refund/refund-like relief for defective goods/services), it could increase Apple/authorized service providers’ compliance duties beyond what AppleCare+ alone covers. AppleCare+ may still remain a voluntary subscription/service add-on, but local mandated consumer remedies could affect how claims are handled, how disclosures are made, and what minimum protections customers can rely on for covered or non-covered failures.
