Vietnam Issues New Requirements for E-Commerce Platforms
Vietnam has issued new requirements for e-commerce platforms. If a platform qualifies as a “large digital platform” under consumer protection rules, it must maintain an online system to receive and handle consumer complaints and requests, among other obligations.
This is more indirectly related to AppleCare+. If AppleCare+ (or related customer service/complaint handling) is delivered or managed through e-commerce/online sales channels in Vietnam, these platform-focused consumer-protection requirements could increase compliance obligations for handling complaints, returns, and service requests. However, it is unlikely to directly change AppleCare+ warranty terms or coverage unless AppleCare+ transactions and customer support workflows depend on qualifying e-commerce platforms.
