AppleCare+ is an additional, optional protection plan, but UK consumer protection laws can still affect how claims, remedies, and expectations work for faulty devices. Even if AppleCare+ covers issues beyond statutory rights, consumers may be entitled to repairs/refunds under consumer law, potentially reducing the practical need to use AppleCare+ for certain problems and shaping how Apple communicates warranties and remedies.
